Beer Sheva, also known as Beersheba, is perhaps most known for being the location of “Abraham’s Well” in the Bible.

Beer Sheva is currently a desert city located in southern Israel and is also the 6th largest city in the nation.

Being a large desert city, Beer Sheva’s population is pretty much spread out so that the downtown area is rather small.

It is not the most amazing place to visit in terms of tourist facilities and breathtaking views but it is perfect for tourists who want a taste of history and architecture.
